At Just Lofts & Build, we don’t do bodge jobs. We install solid, moisture-resistant loft flooring built to last—no creaking, no sagging, and no risking a foot through the ceiling while you hunt for Christmas decorations.

Materials That Last

We use Caberfloor P5 tongue-and-groove chipboard at 18 mm or 22 mm—never flimsy sheets. It’s tough, quiet underfoot, and resists moisture exactly as a UK loft demands.

Our Process

We build a solid, level subframe so the floor has zero flex, then lay proper T&G boards with tight joints and clean edges. If you need them, we also fit loft ladders, lighting, hatches, and insulation as part of the same visit. When we’re done, everything is tidied and left mint—no mess, no drama.

Rotten Floors? Sorted.

If old boards are spongy or joists show signs of woodworm, dry rot, or damp, we remove the damage, treat the area, and install pressure-treated timber the right way. We’ve fixed more rotten floors than a cowboy has excuses.
