We’ve got one of those fancy Velux windows in the upstairs bathroom, the kind with a remote control that makes you feel like James Bond every time you open it. Well, that dream ended quickly when the batteries died. I changed them, the remote lit up like a Christmas tree… but the window stayed stubbornly shut. Tried to open it manually. No chance. It was jammed tighter than a jar of pickles at a pensioners’ picnic.

This bloke turns up, calm as you like, climbs up a pair of rickety old steps I had lying around, gets his fingers into the gap (I was sweating just watching him), finds some secret override catch like he’s defusing a bomb, and boom, the window opens. Honestly, this man was a legend. Fast, friendly, and clearly knew what he was doing. My wife and I were so impressed we nearly adopted him.

We had a Drimaster-Eco system installed by Just Lofts, due to condensation issues in our bathroom and bedroom areas.

We needed to remove contaminated loft insulation from our two attics, both of which were storing a considerable amount of our junk, accumulated over the years.

A big thank you to John and Aaron who worked their socks off clearing out the contents of the attics before being able to start the main job, removing the existing insulation. After they’d finished what was a really dirty job, they cleaned both the loft spaces and disinfected them, leaving them exactly as promised. They cleaned up after themselves so well that by the time they left, the house looked as if no one had been there at all!

We couldn’t have asked for a better pair of workers – if only they could have helped us to sort out what we needed to keep from the piles of boxes we’d forgotten we had, and what to throw away! But sadly, that’s our problem…

Mark sent Aaron and John round to re-insulate and board my loft. The boys were professional and friendly (and Kira our rescue dog liked them – always a good sign). The loft was finished in a few hours – they just cracked on, got it done, and cleared all their mess. Excellent job, and now just waiting for the fitting of my Flatmaster. Highly recommended

Our chimney stack was leaking quite bad for months and causing damp in our bedrooms . Mark recommended a survey of our chimney stack using a drone rather than scaffolding. The report came back and found the chimney stack was in very bad condition and he recommended that the chimney stack was removed. Just loft carried out the removal of the chimney stack and also replace our roof with new timbers and slates. You’ll never know that chimney stack was there.

All the damp in the bedrooms has now vanished. I would highly recommend Just lofts
